The split board solves a problem the single board does not: it opens and closes around the subject instead of being presented and waited in. Our version is cut in two pieces, closes with toggle-and-turn latches, and carries a swivel eyelet bottom-centre that the chain leash snaps onto.
It is the design that retailers ask for most, because the opening action demonstrates itself on the selling floor and the two-piece build is easier to pack than anything else in the restraints range.
